This is the most important and most difficult stage. Your body is used to eating and exercising a certain way, eating certain foods at certain times, doing certain types of exercise. Putting a new structured diet and fitness plan in place needs to be given time so your body can adjust. This takes about 2 weeks. It is important in this time to stick with the schedule set out, even if you think you are not doing enough. Trying to run before you can walk is a major reason for failure when it comes to long term health changes. Making sure you follow the schedule will allow your body to adapt to the new diet and training and set you up for long term benefits.
