Forever Living Products Certifications
Forever Living Products have been awarded quality seals from the following organisations. More than one version of the symbols have been used by the company, but they are equivalent.
International Aloe Science Council (IASC) Seal of Approval
There is no standardisation of aloe vera products. However, there is a regulatory body based in the USA called the International Aloe Science Council, which provides analysis of aloe vera products. The body was set up in 1981 to regulate the quality of aloe vera used in products. Only products that meet the standards set out by this body are given a seal of approval which can then be displayed by the company and on their products. Only products with aloe ingredients that meet their certified quality standards and include at least 15% aloe vera in their content are able to receive this seal. In 1986, FLP became the first company to be allowed to display this seal on their products for the high quality of their patented aloe vera gel. It is recommended that all aloe vera products are purchased from companies that display this symbol on their products, or at least from companies that have obtained it.
Note: Some Products from Forever Living that contain their aloe vera gel do not come with this symbol. This is because the content of aloe vera contained on that particular item is less than 15%. This is usually because the aloe vera is added to obtain its absorption properties and aid the uptake of the the other ingredients in the product, rather than for the other properties of aloe vera.

Forever Living Products' manufacturing process has been approved and certified by the Committee for the Advancement of Torah and have been awarded their seal of approval for kosher food. The majority of products that are consumed have also been certified and carry this seal, although there are some that contain ingredients that do not meet this standard, so check for this symbol. They have been placed on each product page. Some products have a 'D' next to this symbol, indicating that it contains dairy or dairy based produce.
Islamic Seal of Approval
The Islamic Society of California tested several products, approved them to meet the high standards set by the society for Halal approval and awarded their seal, reflecting the high levels of quality control in FLP's manufacturing and packaging process. The majority of products that are consumed have also been certified and carry this seal, although there are some that contain ingredients that do not meet this standard, so check for this symbol. They have been placed on each product page.
Not Tested on Animals
No testing on animals has taken place for either products or their ingredients produced by FLP, and the company subscribes to the standards set by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and have been awarded their seal of approval. This symbol is displayed on all cosmetic product pages. For more information on PETA visit their website: www.peta.org
