 The body needs a regular water supply to function. 85% of the brain, 80% of the blood and 70% of muscles are made of water.  It helps to remove toxins, carry oxygen and nutrients and keep joints working smoothly. It is also important for healthy skin and regulating body temperature. It is therefore tightly regulated to make sure that the bodies vital functions work properly. It is important to take in enough water to remain hydrated throughout the day, particularly when exercising, to maintain performance, lose weight and avoid injury.
